Toulouse Dining Table

The Toulouse Dining Table features two large French oak plank boards clamped and laminated for grain and color grading, plus live edge details. Two finished are available, oxidized grey and seared oak. For the seared oak finish, an iron oxide is used in the first stage of producing the seared oak color. Careful application turns the oak a dark blue/black as the chemical bonds with the tannin. This is then neutralized with an alkaline mixture, which turns the color a rich wenge brown. This process brings out the beautiful light and dark interplay and leaves the sapwood a subtly lighter tone. The FSC certified oak tabletop is also given double dovetail joinery on hairline fractures and open splits. The two strong and sturdy legs are available in stainless steel and gold finished stainless steel. The Toulouse Dining Table can be used in commercial settings as well as residential properties.
